There are billions of searches every day, and an estimated 43% are for local goods and services. People are moving away from Yellow Pages and using (predominantly in the UK) Google for their investigations. There is also a growing tendency to move away from expensive directories, because they list all your competition there too – and you are paying for the privilege taboot!
